Shooting Up

Isaac had his two month check-up yesterday. All is well. He's 11 lbs and 8 oz. and 23.5 inches long. I forget how big they said his head was. He did really well. He didn't even cry when they weighed him on the cold metal scale.

Then came the shots.
I couldn't watch, but I did catch a glimpse. The needles were long and seemed like they would penetrate to the bone on his skinny little legs.
He had three and he squealed and squealed. But, that was the easy part. He came home and slept for a couple of hours, but when he woke up, he was miserable. He spent most of the evening crying. He slept fitfully last night and he woke up crying. It's a pathetic sad sounding cry and it makes me feel bad.

I didn't want to send the crying baby to Jena's, so I came home from school after 1st period. We got the ok to give him more children's tylenol, so he's been sleeping in between eating and crying.

Poor little man. :(

The shots are the worst to get through but he'll be okay, that's what I kept telling myself. :)
Miss you..
