12:45 am

That's the time last night that Isaac decided to have his nightly one-hour hollar-palooza. He ended his set a little short, at 1:41 am.

Other than that, yesterday was only slightly better than the day before. The three naps totaled three hours, but after the short night (one hour of "play" time in the middle and an early morning awakening), he was quite crabby as the day wore on. By evening, I tried to distract him with a quick trip to the grocery store where he had a 100% total meltdown. People were looking at me with that "oh, that poor mom" look in their eyes.

How do you find the time and energy to keep us all informed on the latest non-sleep habits of Isaac? Maybe it'll get better once he learns to get down himself. I hope that for you.

I'm still praying for you and baby Isaac. At least the people looking at you in the grocery store didn't give you the 'Shut that baby up,' look. I get that at Wal-Mart when Andrew or Jonathan speak to loud.

Put him on a treadmill for a while and see how well he sleeps. :-D

allison - glad you liked the lasagna. it was great to meet william.

leslie - i find the time while i'm sitting across the hall (in my office) from the baby, while he screams. it's during the minutes where i'm trying to decide if it's gone on long enough. if he's past the point of settling down even if i do pick him up. if i'm torturing him. you know. those minutes. i get a lot done trying to decide what to do and when to do it.
