We just got back from the six month checkup. Isaac is snoozing away.
I gave him children's Tylenol before we went, but we didn't get the shots until almost two hours later, so hopefully, he'll sleep until it's time for another dose. After the doctor checked us out, it took 40 minutes for the nurse to come give him shots. It's rough keeping a tired baby entertained in a 10 by 12 room with nothing in it he can touch. Good times.
The boy is 26 1/4 inches long and weighs in at 17 pounds 12 ounces. On Babycenter.com, these are both in the 25th - 50th percentiles. The head measurement wasn't working out so well, due to the hyperactive baby-zilla.
Anyhow, we don't have to do shots for 6 months!!

Wow. He seems big. Ava was 18lbs at her 12 month visit. Addie was 15lbs at her 6 month visit. Maybe it's the difference b/w boys and girls. He sure is growing fast. Addie isn't crawling yet, but she is scooting backwards and getting stuck under the furniture.
