I came in from the kitchen several times to find a smiling (and happy) (and stuck) little boy who had just pulled himself up to a table or couch or toy or crib. He's been pulling up in the crib, for a couple of days, but all this other furniture is new...
This new skill is accompanied by:
1. Frustration that he is now stuck.
2. The realization by the parents that tables are no longer "safe" for dangerous items removed from the floor.
3. A few extra bumps on the head from falling backwards and pulling up into the underside of the top of the coffee/end tables.
Good times.
I posted a video on our picasa site. Check it out here.
On a side note: Today was a lot better, as far as the sleeping went. I think the boy is comfortable with his weekday routine and the weekend threw him off. I hope that's it, anyway.
And, as always, you can check out more pictures of the monster here. And more videos here.

I LOVE Sequence!!! Come over and we'll play.
The truth is, I've only played once, and I don't remember anything about it. We just thinned out our board game collection via yard sale, and this one made the cut, so I have to play it in the next year, or, um... else.
I would take it off your hands but we already own one. Plus, I just noticed his cute carrot nose. Andrew had one for the longest time and I hated that everyone made a comment about it but it looks like I'm one of thoooose people now.
So glad he is pulling up.
