The boy had his 4 month checkup today.
His stats:
14 pounds and 4 ounces of weight.
26 1/2 inches of length.
16 inch circumference of cranium.
He's really long and has a little bitty head.
While the doctor was checking him out, he was out of control. He thought it was the funniest thing ever. He laughed and giggled and squirmed and kicked. He even cracked up over having the ear inspecting gadget shoved into his ear. I don't know what came over him.
Then he had some shots. They went as suspected. He screamed.
He's been pretty good all evening, though, which is vastly different than the first round of shots.
Finally, he's been ok'd to start some rice cereal. We tried it tonight and he seemed to pick up the eating technique quite quickly.

Bennett had his first tastes of rice cereal tonight as well. I don't think it went as well at our house. He made faces and spit most of it back out.
